| ANTICORODAL®–71 |
| This hardenable alloy is highly suitable for sand, mould and low-pressure mould casting. For mould casting (sand casting on request), the alloy can also be supplied with a permanent modification. ANTICORODAL® – 71 is preferred for cast parts with high electrical conductivity. ANTICORODAL® – 71 is manufactured from virgin aluminium in order to keep the content of manganese, chromium and titanium low. 27 – 29 m/Wmm² can be used as guiding values for the achievable electrical conductivity.
Cast parts made from ANTICORODAL® - 71 are noted for their high strength and toughness. Corrosion resistance to water and weather is excellent, weldability and machining properties are very good. The shine of cast parts made from ANTICORODAL® – 71 is very good after mechanical polishing. |
