ANTICORODAL®-72 is a hardenable aluminium casting alloy that is very suitable for sand, mould and low-presure mould casting. It can also be die cast and fine cast.
Compared to ANTICORODAL®-70, the alloy has a higher magnesium content and is noted for its very high strength values with reduced stretching. It is suitable for use in engineering, in the aerospace industry and in electrotechnology. Resistance of the ANTICORODAL®-72 alloy is excellent, while weldability and machining properties are very good. |
