| Fuel and oil tanks are designed as single or combination tank solutions for goods vehicles by taking into consideration all individual customer specifications and requirements.
Derived from the OEM standard cross-sections, this allows the retrofitting of utility vehicles for maximum diesel volume as well as a range of applications specially coordinated to the needs of the customer. The use of high-quality 5000 series aluminium alloy materials guarantees corrosion resistance against diesel and against external environmental influences over the entire service life of the vehicle - even without expensive coatings. This ensures that the fuel tank is 100% recyclable. The special design of the fuel tank allows an ideal weight to be achieved. The connection to the frame uses either standard OEM brackets or an aluminium bracket developed by SAG Alutech. This aluminium bracket offers a weight advantage of approx. 50% compared with a typical steel bracket. |
