PERALUMAN®-30 is an aluminium-magnesium casting alloy made from virgin aluminium, which can be processed well in sand and coquille casting. It can also be die cast. Not recommended for use in low-pressure coquille casting. PERALUMAN® - 30 is not easy to cast due to the long solidifying interval.
PERALUMAN®-30 is noted for its high ductile yield and impact strength. PERALUMAN®-30 is excellently machinable and exhibits an outstanding shine after mechanical polishing. The alloy is excellently suited for decorative anodic oxidation. The alloys are therefore particularly used for decorative parts of internal and external architecture (coatings), household devices and equipment in the food industry. |
