| SAG-MECASA is a joint-venture between SAG (60%) and MECASA Mecanismos Autrometrices (40%). The headquarter is situated in Tlalnepantla, Mexico. A second site was opened in Monterrey. SAG-MECASA belongs to SAG Motion Group and was founded in December 2008.
SAG-MECASA is developing and manufacturing fuel tanks for the commercial vehicle industry in the area of the North American Free Trade Agreement ("NAFTA") and it's also main supplier for the NAFTA automobile industry for special aluminium constructions. The product portfolio includes aluminium and steel fuel tanks (round and rectangular cross section), aluminium tanks for busses, aluminium battery boxes, special tanks and special welded constructions. |
