| SILAFONT®-30 |
| SILAFONT® – 30 is a hardenable aluminium–silicon casting alloy with a low iron content of less than 0.15 %. The alloy has excellent casting properties, and can be processed in sand casting and in coquille casting. The alloy has a very good mould filling and flow capacity.
SILAFONT® – 30 is noted – due to the low copper content – for its excellent corrosion resistance to weather and water. Weldability is excellent, machinability is very good after heat treatment. |
