As a manufacturer, SAG Aluminium Lend offers THIXALLOY® basic material in the sizes 2.5”, 3”, 3.5”, 4”, 5” and 6” with properties optimised to the Thixoforming process.

Other sizes and compositions can be supplied on request, depending on technical feasibility.
 
The installed production capacity currently amounts to 20,000 tonnes per year and can be doubled in the short term. A secure supply of various materials of different diameters is therefore guaranteed.
 
Thixalloy® is supplied in rods as well as in slugs sawn to the shot weight.
