SAG makes a further direct contribution by recovering energy and metal from secondary raw materials. Our products are manufactured in special processes at the end of which we obtain high-quality secondary products to save fuels and energy consumption.
The effect of our method therefore shows that even new high secondary products accrue and do not fall. We are naturally subject to an ongoing internal and external testing and optimisation process in order to also use production processes which are as environmentally-compatible as possible in future.
By using lightweight construction materials and the associated weight reduction vehicle emissions are considerably reduced - 1 kg of aluminium in a car reduces the CO2 emissions by 20 kg during the usage phase (source: www.aluinfo.de). SAG combines sustainability with innovation - aluminium is green. SAG is certified in accordance with environmental certificate ISO 14001-2004.
