Depending on whether you are visiting our website, or you are a supplier, a business partner or an applicant, we process your data either:

  • To protect our own legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), namely to ensure the operation, security and optimization of our webseite
  • based on your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), eg to handle the questions, which you ask us by e-mail or telephone
  • to fulfill our legal obligations (Art. 6 (1)  c GDPR) or
  • to carry out pre-contract measures or to fulfill our contractual obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)

 

5. Data processing of our website visitors

When visiting our website, the following data is collected, stored and enalyzed: browser type and version, operating system, date, time, IP addresses, host name and pages visited. The web server is located in Austria. These data serve to improve our website offers and to maintain the proper functioning of our system.

The data is stored for a period of four hours. After that, the IP address and the  host name will be anonymized.

 

5.1 What are Cookies?

Cookies make websites more user-friendly and efficient for the user. A cookie is a small text file used to store information. When visiting a website, the website may place a cookie on the computer of the website visitor. 5.3 What is Google Analytics?

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We signed a processor agreement with Google.

When accessing our website, a software creates a connection  to Google servers and transmits data to Google servers, some of which are located in the United States. Google Analytics also uses cookies to store information on the website visitor and analyze the website use by the website visitor

This website uses the function "IP anonymization". As a result, your IP address will be truncated and anonymised by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the European Economic Area Agreement . Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there

According to Google, Google will use the collected data to analyze the use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

Google will also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

6. Data processing of suppliers and business partners

The processing of your data is used to perform the application process. If you do not provide us with your data, we will not be able to process your application.

8. Information about the use of social plug-ins

SAG uses so-called social plugins of the social networks Xing, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube on the website. With Youtube the embedding feature is used to view and play videos. The extended data privacy mode is used here, which, according to the provider, stores user information only when playing the video. When the replay of embedded Youtube videos starts, cookies are used by Youtube to collect information about user behavior. According to "Youtube", these are used, among other things, to capture video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive practices. Regardless of any replay of embedded videos, every time you visit this site, you will be connected to the Google Network "DoubleClick", which may trigger further data processing without our intervention. 8.1 Facebook Pixel

This website uses Facebook Pixel, a web analytics service of Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") on the legal basis of overriding legitimate interest (analysis of website use). We therefore have a contract with Facebook for contract data processing. The data is partly transmitted to the USA. The transfer of data to the US is based on the Privacy Shield. When accessing our website, a connection to the Facebook servers is made via software and data is transmitted to Facebook servers, some of which are located in the USA. Facebook Pixel also uses cookies to store information about the website user and to analyze the use of the website by the website user. According to Facebook, Facebook will use the data collected to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. 9. How long will my data be stored?

SAG processes personal data, if necessary, for the duration of the business relationship (development, processing and completion of a contract), for the period of time for which you have granted your consent, in compliance with the legal obligations of safekeeping and documentation or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

After completion of a contract, in the case of a revocation of consent or objection, personal data will be deleted as a matter of principle, as long as further storage is not required for the fulfillment of a legal obligation or the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

10. What rights do I have regarding the processing of my data?

You have the following rights at any time:

  • Information about what data of yours  gets processed with us (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Correction or deletion of your data (Art. 16 and Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of the processing of your data (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Objection to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR) and
  • The right of data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

This will not  affect the legality of the data processing carried out until the date of revocation. Should, contrary to expectations, any infringment to your right to the legitimate processing of your data occur, please contact us by post or e-mail. However, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority in Vienna or with another data protection supervisory authority in the EU, in particular at your place of residence or work.
